In this line of work, we are fortunate to travel to some of South Africa’s most remarkable and remote destinations. This wedding was captured at Dinkoeng Tented Camp and Adventures, a scenic high-altitude retreat set within the Maloti–Drakensberg mountains near QwaQwa, close to the Lesotho border.
The location held deep personal meaning for the couple, as the bride’s family home lies within the surrounding area. What unfolded was a full weekend experience—beginning with a fireside gathering in the lapa the evening before the wedding, followed by a night spent camping in comfortable safari and dome tents.
Surrounded by vast mountain views, we captured cinematic moments overlooking the dramatic landscape, with villages nestled below forming a striking backdrop—beautifully connecting the celebration to the land and the mountains that define it.
